Food and restaurants

We had some amazing food while in Cuba. The black beans were the best I've ever had...and we were given so much food! Tony and I ate so much in the first 3 days that we didn't eat dinner for the next two days after. We did eat at many higher end paladars. We had our welcome drink, usually mojitos, but we did manage to convince a few places to give us wine. Then the servers would bring out a variety of appetizers, which was usually enough to fill you up. We usually were offered the choice of lamb, pork, chicken, or fish (lobster, sword fish) and the mains would arrive with large portions of rice and beans as well. The course would be finished with, usually, flan and strong coffee.
Some places we ate:

Asturias Bar Restaurant (top floor grill): AMAZING food.
Sloppy Joes (not good food...)
El Alijibe (chicken restaurant): Really good chicken

Paladar Los Mercaderes:
Paladar La Guardia: Great environment. Fun rooftop bar.

A very glamorous dinner

Sloppy Joes. Good for the namesake visit, not food
